Genealogy can be a labor of love for family trying to research a collected heritage, but for African Americans, there can be great difficulty in going beyond 1880. There are ways to gather the information needed and new methods available to get the answers many thought they would never be able to know. This workshop looks at the basics of genealogy searches, how to get started and tools for families and individuals. Facilitator: Jade Rogers
