Dorothy Eure and Lerlean Johnson

Dorothy Eure and Lerlean Johnson were active in working for integration of the Omaha Public School system in terms of busing and black teachers in the Florence School system, and, Dorothy Eure was a pioneer in the civil rights struggles from the early 1940′ s to the time of her death in July of 1993 Dorothy was a lifelong resident of North Omaha and an active member of Zion Baptist Church.
